Well there's a petition, I'll got there shortly, but what's it mean?
In the end it's about finding a place as many of you have, to still appreciate the game we all still love, I miss it so much, and when I went to open my client and it wouldn't run....Sadness, pure sadness of the hatred NCSoft has toward this game.
I am not against big corporations, I am against abusiveness of individuals, collectively or otherwise, to assume themselves above the rest of us. Elitism, as a means to exploit the masses, has beent he root of oppression of races, even extinction, for 10's of thousands of years.
How we are treated, as licensees without any committment from the licensor but that they make and control all the rules, is oppression in light of them wanting our private property, the money we work for, to be given to them in exchange under such conditions.
Many many companies in the world, big and small do not treat people this way, we work for them quite often too.
So it's up to us to do all we can to make a difference, to be the market force that brings the unjust to some sort of due, financially at every turn if possible, to help them see they have no right to what they take from us without anything in return, not even a guarantee of access. That my friends is pure royalties, a tax for sake of our being "a sucker born every minute" and it makes me mad.
