i know for a fact that there are atleast is 2 groups that are trying to programming server SW so trying to get into cantact with both and everybody else would be a great thing. The other is When they have moved to Char creation then it means they have some sort of server up and running with a DB7 database, or do they have used anther DB ?

interesting news... I have actually heard of 2 people that have acquired the source code... supposedly they got to character creation and gave up because of the lack of coders... I will be trying to obtain information over the next week

well if they are willingly to do so, but some said that NCsoft probably have burned all codes. i really dont think so, if that is the case then they are more stupid that any other game company aroundd, and NCs have been around for a long time in S.Korea.. i think thats evil hersay. or simply sell the game and all code to another small game company for a small amount. NCs do not have any interessted in the game what so ever. but if they continiue this not talking about it they will see players with their own servers and then, thats a more degrading wiev to them they loose even more face if that ends like that.

jup i really hope someone at NCSoft gets in gear and let us our self put up private servers or else soemone will make server software for it. but that is not a good way to get a server up. the best way is having the real Server SW for it really nice to see another Dane on these forum

Yah it makes me sad! I even heard there's private AION servers.. Why the hell isn't there a private TR Server!! I want to play it more so bad!!!

Just signed up, am also a former TR player located in Europe. I'm not quite sure on how to contribute. But I signed up anyways. I really mis TR and would do a lot to get it back.

My good memories of TR for the day. Going to Earth with my spy and soloing half the missions with Cloak Wave.... Then being seen and getting one shotted by a base lazer. Ah yes, the good things in life.

Eryxx I completely understand and wish I could do soemthing. I've left my info with one of the lawyers in Garriott's suit and so far, not been contacted. Apparently Garriott has no rights. Didn't say anything since, I hoped it would be contact news.

It's been over 1 year now and I'm still searching in vain for another game to fill the forsaken void left by TabRasa's closure.

Sure, some games have been fun, but nothing has recaptured the fantastic experience that only TR delivered.

It's still active, and not going anywhere unless I just can't afford to keep it. We spread out so much, and that's what I feared in the beginning. A product of 120 million dollars and 6 years perfection lost to convenience.

Hey, Ever since TR shut down, I've been searchingm for a group that wants to save it and is actually working to achevie that goal. This is the first group I've really seen who is actively throwing ideas and making forward progress.

I'm willing to help in any way shape or form that I possibly can, even if it means kicking Garriot's or some NCSoft employee's ass. Lets save this game! Keep me posted on stuff so I can help
